The Douglasville Police Department is having a Criminal Activity Town Hall Meeting at the Police Department Community Room on August 16, and we are inviting you to be a part of it. We hope you will come out and join us for this in-person event.

We hope you will come out and join us for this in-person event. This Town Hall will be the same as the one held on August 16, just a different location and date, for those who cannot make the earlier one in the month.

Register to join us at Hunter Park from 10 A.M. – 12 PM on Saturday, September 10th for the Parks Reunion Tour!
The tour will take you to a few of Douglasville’s beautiful parks, the Douglasville Conference Center, and will wrap up with a presentation and lunch.
The Parks Reunion Tour showcases how you can take advantage of all the ways the Douglasville CVB can help make your next reunion in Douglasville the best one yet!
Here at the CVB, we may not be your related family, but we will treat you like our chosen family.
Admission is free and you can register at the event or online. Attendees who pre-register will be entered into a drawing for door prizes.

We will have an opportunity for each to create their own artwork with items provided on September 16th from 6pm -8pm. Come out and enjoy an evening of Painting with a Purpose: we will have snacks, games and music for each person to discover their inner artistic styles. The $5 fee is including supplies necessary for each art project.
The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas county is eager to announce their Volunteer Luncheon. This Lunch event will take place on October 7th, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the CAC, 8652 Campbellton St. Douglasville GA. The CAC will be providing a free lunch and a volunteer information session during this event. The Volunteer Luncheon is a great event for all interesting in serving the community through the arts!

CAC volunteers answer the phone, register students for art classes, take reservations for upcoming events, answer questions about the community for visitors and tourists, provide information on our exhibitions and historic house, help with mailings and program promotions, and assist the staff with everyday operations of the Cultural Arts Council.

The Douglasville Police Department is having our next Parenting 101 class on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, starting at 6:30 pm in the Douglasville Police Department Community Room.
We will have law enforcement and other community leaders discussing various topics. Gangs and drugs will be a part of the discussion, as well as Part II of Tara Nichols’ presentation.
